About Campus X
The purpose of Campus X is to develop attractive properties in Umeå, with a primary focus on residential and community properties that create good conditions for education and research.
Between 2017 and 2022, the company has, among other things, enabled the new construction of almost 1,000 student apartments on Tvistevägen as well as the creation of Curiosum at Konstnärligt Campus. These student apartments have been important for the city of Umeå, and in particular for making it possible for students to move to Umeå to study. During this period, these apartments accounted for just over 20% of all dwellings built in the municipality of Umeå.
Campus X is a real estate company based in Umeå. Campus X is owned by Kajeka AB and Wallenberg Investments AB.
